Who I am
I'm Gopi Krishna Lakkepuram — founder & CEO of Hyperleap AI, an AI chatbots and automation platform that businesses across industries are live on today.
I've been writing code since I was twelve. Two decades later, software is still the only thing that holds my attention the same way. My career began as an intern at Microsoft, Hyderabad in December 2005, which turned into eleven years at Microsoft across India and the United States — building Office 365 and Outlook at planet scale, shipping software used by hundreds of millions of people every day.
In 2017 I moved back to India to pursue an MBA at the Indian School of Business (ISB), which gave me the other half of the toolkit: how businesses actually make money, hire, and grow. The combination of Microsoft engineering rigor and ISB business muscle is the lens I bring to everything I build today.
I run Hyperleap as essentially a one-engineer company — me, a few exceptionally smart interns, and AI agents as my team. My day job is product, sales, marketing, and a relentless amount of writing code. If you're building something with AI as your leverage, I'd love to compare notes.
